At Read St John’s CE Primary School, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive environment for pupils with allergies. We work closely with families, healthcare professionals and our catering provider to identify allergies, reduce the risk of exposure and ensure staff can respond appropriately in an emergency.
Parents and carers must inform the school promptly if their child has a diagnosed or suspected allergy, if medication has been prescribed, or if their child’s needs or treatment change. Individual arrangements will be agreed with families and recorded, where appropriate, in an Individual Healthcare Plan and Allergy Action Plan.
Please contact the school office if you need to tell us about an allergy, discuss a special dietary requirement or update your child’s medical information.
