Year 6
My name is Jade Gamble and I am the Year 6 teacher. We are also lucky to have Mrs Troth our wonderful teaching assistant. We work together to support the children during their Year 6 learning journey. Together, we aim to provide a happy and stimulating learning environment.
Year 6 is always an extremely busy year for the children as we work towards preparing them for transition to secondary school. We have our daily lessons in English and maths and weekly lessons in other curriculum areas. In the middle of May, the children will sit their end of KS2 tests (SATS) which will be in reading comprehension, maths and spelling, grammar and punctuation.
